Planning Board Tables Main Street Car Lot Plan
Planning Commission · Meeting of September 9, 2026
Dudley Planning Board sets Sept. 23 hearing on the town's first ADU bylaw ahead of an Oct. 19 town meeting. Investors Paul and Jill Naporowski pitched a plan to buy a vacant mill property and add self-storage while keeping its cannabis tenant, though board members flagged the building's "Class H" fire hazard classification as a hurdle. The board unanimously tabled a West Main Street classic car lot site plan after applicant Craig Garabinian didn't show.
It also voted to send Legacy Landing's Country Club Acres subdivision to town counsel after a Graze Engineering review found 10 of 15 bond-required items still unfinished, including trail erosion a resident representative described as "an awful lot of washout and grooving and loss of sand." The board separately fielded, but took no action on, a request to restrict large dog breeds on the subdivision's public walking trail.
