Dudley panel approves septic repair, pump station permits
Other Committee · Meeting of September 16, 2026
Dudley Conservation Commission clears septic repair and closes out three water department permits. The five-member board, with James Kepke, Samantha Costello, Richard Levitch, George Swango and William LePage present, voted unanimously to issue an order of conditions for a septic repair at 21 Sunrise Shores under DEP file 146-0822, after engineer Robert Tuff of McClure Engineering said the existing system would not meet Title 5. The board also granted negative determinations for tree work at three properties and released an unexecuted order for 12 Lakeview Avenue.
Environmental scientist Rick, representing Tighe & Bond for the water department, said pump station and Mason Road water main projects were "done for three years," and the board approved certificates of compliance for all three individually. Members also learned a Webster-to-Spencer power line rehabilitation project will skip local review entirely under the state's newer green energy permitting process.
