DUDLEY — The Dudley Conservation Commission unanimously approved a standard order of conditions for a new four-bedroom home on Ransom Road, adding a requirement that an existing stone wall be preserved as a wetland buffer. Engineer Chris of McClure Engineering told the board the bordering vegetated wetland sits more than 120 feet from the proposed house, with grading kept under a 10 percent slope. Wetland consultant Matthew S.
Marro's ten technical recommendations were folded into the order, and a member added an eleventh: "Leave the wall." The commission also issued a negative determination of applicability to Matthew Gorski for West Main Street erosion controls and a certificate of compliance to Scott Durant for 140 Klondike Road, both unanimous. Land Use Clerk Brayden Cutler said a tree-cutting violation in a buffer zone elsewhere in town is nearing resolution, and a notice of intent for the Eagle Drive waterline project comes before the board October 28.
