Zoning Board approves signage, porch variances

Zoning Board · Meeting of January 8, 2026

Dudley Zoning Board of Appeals clears signage and porch variances without objection. The board unanimously approved a special permit letting Pro Automotive owner Jason Russo install two building signs, each capped at 30.5 square feet, at 191 West Main Street under town bylaw section 403.02.02. It also unanimously approved a variance for Vincent Fasano to add a front porch at 17 Lakeside Drive, granting relief on lot area, frontage and setbacks after board members worked through a roughly 7,725-square-foot lot-area shortfall.

Fasano said the move brings him into "my wife's childhood home." The board separately amended and approved prior minutes and flagged a resident complaint at 54 Old Selfridge Road for next month's agenda.
