Water · Meeting of October 7, 2026

DUDLEY — The Dudley Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners granted conditional permission to connect water service at 31-35 Fairview Avenue. Commissioner Scott Zajkoski's motion, approved unanimously, ties the connection to an engineered plan running either through Joseph Street or off the existing Fairview Avenue main. Resident Joe Narajinsky of 17 Fairview Avenue told the board a boundary survey monument removed during an earlier town water project still has not been replaced after "over two years," saying "if they were blind, they could go out there and locate this thing." Superintendent George Patrinos reported a booster-station pump failure and a deteriorating transite main on Ramshorn Road, and said the district will file an insurance claim carrying a roughly $2,500 deductible.

The board also adopted Patrinos's performance evaluation and tabled minutes from both September meetings for lack of a full board.
